SXSW 2010

it's monday in austin and we'll be leaving here soon. i don't really have a feeling about sxsw. on one hand, it's a whack festival for already-overly-and-undeservingly-popular bands to spew hype into zombie ears. then, it's a showcase event/ oppotunity to see young, excited people playing raw music that is actually interesting and to small crowds. so it's schizophrenic and lame and cool. mexican food is a bonus. don't go to guero's. there's never any parking.

touring is part of my essence. to not tour is to not be me.
