been really enjoying Stone Roses' first album a lot lately. when it first came out, i guess my ear was too geared toward dirty, heavy sounds, which i still love. but i can now see value in clean, well produced material as well, as long as the content thereof is interesting, i.e. stone roses

this is shaping up to be the ultimate Digital Leather record. The synths are demonic, drum machines are over-blasted. plus, the full band stuff is so catchy. i like how it seems like a party album at first, but really it's the antithesis of that. you can party to it, you can do it to it, but you can also kill yourself to it. can you kill yourself to andrew wk?
