As a songwriter I have, in some ways, evolved, but the collection of songs on this Lp is probably the most representative of the Digital Leather sound up until now. Lonesome Writer pt.1

Being a solo-artist type is a double-edged sword. on one hand I don't have to deal with the quirks of other musicians, especially when it comes to writing. For me, another person's input, at least during the writing process, kills my inspiration. When i am alone, i am a free bird and can explore any aspect of my imagination that i choose.
On the other hand, I often find myself lonely, and because of my stubborn attitude, the company is not pleasant. Lots of sitting in silence. Lots of compulsive masturbating. Much time spent these ways.

CD RELEASE PARTY

Living in Arizona is a complete drag for me. I am totally anonymous and never recognized as a musician. Rather, I am known as a scumbag and a loser. This is bad for morale. I am disappointed weekly by the local publications, never seeing so much as a review for Digital Leather. However, there is always a flood of ads for shitty dance parties and cd release "events." The cd release is a fowl and grotesque thing. who doesn't have a cd these days? my mom is releasing one next week. The cheapness and availability of the compact disc has made the cd release party a stale happening. someone needs to do an 8-track release party. that would be cool. too cool. it would put elitism back into rock and roll, where it belongs. These are my digital thoughts for now. buy my album BLOW MACHINE, on vinyl.
