Influences

I drew from a lot of my favorite bands on this record: The Fall, Violent Femmes, Joy Division, Nirvana, Tangerine Dream, and Gary Numan to name a few

there are parts of the new record that are obviously inspired by the work of film composer John Murphy. I love what he did with Sunshine.

non-musically, i drew from just hanging out with friends, convoluted drunken conversation, the news, travelling, love, death; the usual stuff.
